Its been a long time live journal, I am not making any promises but maybe the new year holds a return to the basics....and truth be told I have always considered you pretty basic...well as I dispense with the obligatory pleasantries that often go along with a return, after a long hiatus, to a particularly addictive habit...I just have  to say there is something so anti-climatic about the hanging and subsequent death of Saddam Hussein, I'm not disputing anyone’s feelings on the matter...it's just I expect so much more at the end of a notable persons life, even if that person is blamed with the "murders" of many people...where’s the chorus? or the piano? hell where is the dramatic video of the candle being put out next to his lifeless limp body?...or maybe those things are just saved for the hero, well the present day meaning of hero anyway, because if in fact that atrocities that said person committed did actually happen then by ancient standards isn't said person a hero?...ahh the ramblings of a mad man...do I really want a return to this? rather...midnight madness as one friend once referred to it. To many questions and not nearly enough answers.
